I wonder is it stil possible to have a individual style..in this time and age. it seems that everyone is doing an ashley wood, a craig mullins..a jon foster. and there is nothing wrong with it..strictly speaking..and i believe it is how u evolve(key word is evolve-meaning slowly...incrementally..distilling it) from there. every artist learn from history...look at the lines of ashley wood..and u will see egon schiele...and from egon schiele...u see klimt...from klimt..u see the classical style of art..from ingres..to david...and stretching all the way back to the cave painting and african art....
we certainly had come a long way..from wall to monitor screens..and here wishing all artist at deviant art follow their own honest path to a style, a language of art they can called their own.and appreciate what others had done before us and learn from them..all those great artists of a bygone period.
